We are looking to appoint a qualified counsellor to complement our existing counselling team and provide support across the counties of Swansea and Neath Port Talbot. We are looking for someone who is qualified to diploma level and is a member of a professional counselling body such as the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and ideally has experience of health-related counselling work. We deliver our support via our unique outreach service to the individuals’ home, workplace, at one of our counselling centres at Swansea, Neath or Port Talbot or other convenient location, During the pandemic we supported individuals by way of virtual channels; due its popularity with many clients this option is now available on a permanent basis. The post will be offered on a permanent contract, with an option for full/part time hours to suit the right candidate. Sponsored walk for CISS
We are delighted that The team at Hancock & Brown raised over £4000 for us from their sponsored climb of Pen Y Fan on April 30th!

Telephone Support
Due to the Coronavirus situation CISS is now offering an alternative option to provide support via telephone. Your counsellor will contact you ahead of your planned meeting to discuss the best option for you. Thank you for your co-operation during this difficult time.
Children and Young Peoples Counselling
CISS is pleased to announce that it is now able to extend its support to children and young people aged 3 to 18.
Two of our outreach counsellors have recently extended their qualifications allowing them to now support those in this particular age category.
We are very grateful to The Peoples Postcode Lottery for helping us fund this new project.
